The Hotel Goldener Adler is a traditional Tyrolean inn, which first opened in 1390 and is set in an 18th century building. Beside the hotel entrance is a marble plaque with some of the names of the famous people who have stayed here, including Emperor Joseph II, Mozart and Goethe. Guestrooms feature rustic white walls and dark wood antique furniture. All have cable television, telephones, minibars and safes. Bathrooms have toiletries, hair dryers and showers or bathtubs.

Innsbruck Airport is 6 kilometers away. Buses run from the Airport to the city center every 15 minutes and take about 20 minutes. Alternatively guests can take a taxi to the hotel.
